💨 Why is ventilation important?
Good air needs to move! When we stay in a closed classroom for too long:
CO₂ levels increase
Oxygen levels decrease
We feel sleepy, lose focus, or get headaches
Fresh air helps us stay alert, healthy, and happy.
⏰ When and how should we ventilate?
Open windows during every break.
Try 5–10 minutes every 45 minutes.
Cross-ventilation works best (windows on opposite sides of the room).
🔍 Activity: Open Window Experiment
Use a CO₂ meter (if available) or just observe.
Check how students feel before and after opening the windows.
Record observations like this:
| Time | Window Open? | How Do We Feel? |
|---|---|---|
| 10:00 | No | Sleepy |
| 10:10 | Yes | More focused |
Then discuss: when do you feel best in class?
🧠 What did you learn?
Air must be refreshed regularly.
A simple action like opening the window can improve attention and well-being.
Every student can help keep the air fresh.
